Morning Event - All welcome - 11:30 Sunday 24 November
Janet Swift has twice volunteered with an International Medical Relief Agency to work in Greece amongst the refugees crossing over to the Island of Lesbos and in Athens. As a doctor she has witnessed at first hand one of the great human stories of our time.
I am delighted to say that Janet has agreed to give us a talk on the morning of our upcoming Solo Prize Giving Lunch on Sunday 24 November.
This is a unique opportunity to hear her very personal story and experiences in this saga which continues out of sight of the media. Her talk will be followed by an open Q&A conversation.
For those coming to the Solo Prize Giving Lunch in the afternoon this is the perfect way to complete your day out and we hope you will do just that.
All Fleet Members, past and present, their partners and guests are most welcome to attend.
No booking required. Meet in the Over 18’s Bar from 11am for coffee with the talk around 11.30.
