Optimist Open Meeting
30 June and 1 July 2018

The regatta is open to all InternationalOptimist class dinghies. There will be two fleets sailing on separate course areas; a main (open) fleet, and a ‘regatta fleet’.
The regatta fleet is intended for younger or less experienced helms, and entries in this fleet will be accepted at the discretion of the organizing authority.

Online entry will close on Wednesday 27 June or earlier if the entry limit is reached.
Racing will take place in Hayling Bay or Chichester Harbour, Tidal Sets available here.
Registration for competitors on Saturday 30 June from 09:00 hrs.

The Restaurant is open daily: Breakfast 08:00 - 10:30, Lunch 12:30 - 14:30, Dinner: 19:00 - 21:00.

Harbour Chandlers are on site, they can be contacted on 07855 440 605.
Trailer storage will be in a designated area in the Carpark next to the Lifeboat station, please ensure all trailers are labelled with owners name and sail number.
Mobile homes/camper vans
We are not allowed to open the site for motorhomes on a regular weekend basis.

Note: We have an exemption for the Optimist event, but with limits and conditions on the use of the site by motorhomes of members and non-members.
Outside exempted events, motorhomes are not permitted on site.
