505 Open Meeting - 22/23 June 2002
Home club winners for the 505 Open Meeting held at HISC over the weekend. After the excitment of Saturdays racing the wind eased for Sunday, maybe to allow the crews to recover from their Saturday night excesses!

After the first days racing in the 505 Open, Ian Pinnell and Steve Hunt were tied for first place with Simon Payne and Bill Masterman.

On Sunday they quickly took the first two races in the lighter winds and then retired to leave the fleet to sort out the places in the final race. Payne and Masterman took that race to confirm their second overall ahead of Terry Scutcher and Christian Diebtish from Shotley SC.
