Mining: Chimet: Meteorological and Sea State Data Algorithmic Sonification Project

We are looking forward to hosting 275 boats at HISC this weekend (17 to 19 May) for the RS30th Anniversary Regatta.

Please note, the majority of the parking this weekend will be on the causeway and in the overflow car park.

It’s the season for the caterpillars of the Brown-tail Moth to come out of their cocoons.

If you or your children see one, please be sure not to touch it because they cause skin irritations and can, in some cases, breathing difficulties.  The moths are native to Britain and the caterpillars are black and hairy with red and white markings, so they are quite distinctive.

The 2024 Spring General Meeting (SGM) will take place on in the Clubhouse, Sunday 14 April at 15:00 hrs.

The General Committee (GC) is keen to encourage as many members as possible to engage with and attend the meeting. The SGM is an important event in the Club Calendar and an opportunity for Members to better understand the Club’s Financial position and Strategy moving forwards.

HISC reintroduce the Members Carpark Plaque due to popular demand!

The new plaques are now available for collection from reception. And the best part? Each Adult Member is entitled to receive one plaque FREE of charge with additional plaques purchased for just £2 each.
