We're starting some sailing lessons and sailing sessions
HISC is restarting it programme of bookable private sailing lessons, beginner windsurfing lessons & improver sailing sessions.
Private lessons will be on a 1:2:1 and sessions numbers will be limited to 5 persons.
Lessons and sessions will be strictly in single handed boats or in double handed with someone from your own household and conform with measures that have been put in place to adhere to social distancing requirements.
We will be being cautious and considerate in our running of lessons and sessions and may cancel if the weather conditions are unsuitable.

Book a HISC instructor for either a half day or a full day of on the water tuition.
These sessions are perfect for anyone wanting to work on their sailing skill at any level, in any vessel.
We have very experienced instructors who can help you get your kids sailing for the first time or hone your racing skills.
We are also offering beginner windsurfing lessons for those wanting to start their windsurfing journey!
All teaching will take place with social distancing in place and as such the instructor will not be able to be in the sailing boat with the student.
Sessions cost £75 for a morning or £140 for a full day.
Prices include the use of the HISC Hire fleet.

Restart of HISC Improver Sailing Sessions
HISC Improver Sailing Sessions will be restarting from Wednesday 24 June.
Session numbers will be limited to 5 persons and conform to measures have been put in place to adhere to social distancing requirements.

HISC Improver Sailing Sessions are an opportunity for anyone to come sailing with rescue cover and coaching tips provided.
• Pay as you play – only pay for the sessions you can do.
• All abilities are welcome.
• Coaching and safety will be provided for all sailors.
• A course will be put out or sailors can stay in a defined sailing area.
• All abilities levels are catered for.
• Safety provided for all sailors – people are welcome to just come and sail and stay in the sailing area.
