Sunday 29th - The Centenary Race
The Centenary Race will take place at 11.00 on Sunday 29 August and will be different to anything we have ever previously run – so please take note and please read the Sailing Instructions here. Although a serious race, it will be fun and inclusive, and to be successful will require members to take part in the spirit in which it is intended.
Entry to the race is for all members in cruisers, keelboats or dinghies with boats with a HISC Handicap of 1450 or lower. Please click in the link in the Sailing Instructions to enter via SailEvent
NOTE - Entry WILL NOT BE TAKEN ON THE DAY to allow for the preparatory administration; entry will ONLY be by Sailevent and will close at 23.59 on Wednesday 25th August.
Sunday 29th - Afternoon Tea & Cream Tea
The authors of our Centenary Book - "A 100 Years in the Making" will be available to sign your copy, if you haven't already purchased your book, you can order online or just pop into Reception for a copy.
Monday 30th - Grand Rafting Picnic
Dinghies and cruisers cruise up the harbour to a secluded anchorage where we form a large ‘petal’ raft. The cruisers bring the picnic (and tow where necessary), the dinghies and SUPs bring the fun.
