A Record Year of Club Racing Participation

Since data began being recorded in 2010, this year, 2024, has been the most successful year on record, regarding the number of boats that have sailed here at HISC in Club Racing Events, recording 100 more turnouts than the highest previous year in 2014.

Here are some key highlights from 2024:

• During 2024, there were 371 more turnouts than there were in 2023, with the number for this year totalling just under 3500 turnouts.
• Solo class is still turning out the most boats annually and more than the next 3 adult classes added together.
• The RS Aero 5 Class saw the largest increase in the number of turnouts, with over 100 more than in 2023.
• The RS 800, RS Aero 5 and RS Aero 6 classes more than doubled the number of turnouts their respective classes had in 2023.
