Marine Industry Regatta

Following the success, fun and entertainment of last year’s inaugural event, Hayling Island Sailing Club is delighted to host the second MARINE INDUSTRY REGATTA on THURSDAY 16th JUNE 2022.
Last year the event raised £1200 for a Children's Intensive Care Charity, and for 2022 we will again be supporting this charity. The competition is open to all Marine Industry businesses to enter a team of four people.
Racing will take place in RS21 keelboats in the stunning backdrop of Chichester Harbour, and the competition will be an intensive round robin of short course racing to arrive at a winner.
With bacon / sausage baps on arrival, a packed lunch to eat on the Hotel Boats between races while watching other teams compete, and a burger on return to the shore, all a sailor needs is provided!
Dinner will be available to buy after the event in the club restaurant.
Overnight accommodation in the club’s Dunes and Stocker Blocks can be booked in advance for the preceding or following evenings by contacting the HISC office.
