Borrow Bags now available on the island

On the 30th January The Final Straw Foundation launched borrow bags on the island.

In short, if you forget your bag you can borrow one from participating shops. Then, when you remember you can drop the bag back to any participating shop.

Simply to reduce plastic waste from taking new bags and reduce old material heading to landfill.
These bags have all been made by amazing people on the island and without them it wouldn’t have been possible - A huge thank you to everyone who has participated in this project, we have now made well in excess 1000 Borrow Bags, helped enormously by the WI, MRSC, local sewing groups and other individuals on Hayling.
