RYA Start Windsurf Instructor

The RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor is a competent windsurfer that is trained to teach and assess the Start Windsurfing Course syllabus of the RYA a National Windsurfing Scheme and Stage 1 and 2 of the Youth Scheme. Start Instructors are confident windsurfers capable of teaching the basic skills of windsurfing in light to medium winds. During the course, candidates will be assessed on the competence to teach both adults and children to the level of RYA Start Windsurfing Youth Stage 1 and 2.

Required Experience

• Must have RYA Membership
• A current valid First Aid certificate
• RYA Powerboat Level 2
• RYA Safe and Fun
• Hold the RYA Intermediate non-planing certificate or be at the equivalent standard.
