HISC Seals is aimed at anyone under 10 to come and have some fun in the water, meet new friends and try new things.

We meet for 2 hours on a Saturday, once a month throughout the summer. 2024 dates:

25th May - 12:00-14:00 

22nd June - 11:00-13:00

20th July - 11:00-13:00

24th August - 16:00-18:00

HISC Seals is free and for everyone to enjoy, the link to sign up to use the Optimist on a rope and Zests opens on the HISC elite app a week before each event.

HISC Seals is run by club members for club members, you are responsible for your child at all times, please make sure you all wear life jackets.

Opportunities for your child:

• Sail in an Optimist on a rope.

15min turns for your child to helm an optimist.

• Sail in a Zest.

30min turns for you to take your child for a sail in a Zest.

• Challenge to find the pictures on the buoys.

Help you child to find all the pictures using your own kayaks/paddle boards/boogie boards/dinghies.

• Scavenger Hunt.

Help you child to find all the objects listed on the hunt sheet. 

• Prize giving at the end of each session.

Small prize for everyone, recognising any new achievements your child has made.
