The Sparkes Trophy & Nab Cup

Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th October

The Sparkes and Nab weekend is one of the longer running race series organised by HISC dating back over 50 years. A weekend of cruiser racing in Hayling Bay with one race on Saturday (for the Sparkes Trophy) and a single race on Sunday (for the Nab Cup). 

With various fleet options, this really is an event for anyone with access to a cruiser and is keen to see how well you can get her going. Whether you want moderately serious handicap racing or to simply get round a course as best you can without getting in anyone’s way; this is the event for you.

The Sparkes Trophy & Nab Cup is open to all monohulled cruisers, which will be rated using the YTC base handicaps.

The Little Sparkes and Little Nab are open to all cruisers and will be rated using the NHC base handicaps.

The prize giving for the Sparkes Trophy and Nab Cup will be held after racing on Sunday in the main bar.
