One to One Lessons

One to one instruction is a great way to develop your skills with a qualified and experienced instructor who can tailor the sessions to suit your needs. These sessions are offered to both adult & youth sailors and the use of a hire boat is included in the price.

You can sail in your own boat if this your preference, however the price is not discounted. 

1:1 training can be booked in half day sessions for the morning and afternoon or full day slots where both morning & afternoon sessions are available.

Morning sessions run from 9:30am-12pm.

Afternoon sessions run from 1:30pm-4pm.

Evening sessions run from 5:30pm - 8pm.

Full day sessions run from 9:30am-4pm with an hours break off the water for some lunch.

What to bring

Make sure you have the appropriate clothing for the weather. A wetsuit is encouraged, footwear you’re happy to get wet, layers if it’s cold, sun cream and a hat if it’s not and a buoyancy aid. Alternatively, the buoyancy aid can be rented from the club for a small fee.

Refreshments

During the summer, the snack bar will be open to purchase snacks, drinks, and lunch. The restaurant will also be open for dinner in the evenings.

Accommodation

Our Dunes and Stocker accommodation blocks offer a range of different rooms. From our admiral’s cabin through to the cadets’, there will be something suitable for everyone.

Parking

We have a large carpark onsite and down our causeway. However, if you are in a motorhome you will have to find alternative parking for overnight stays.
