As we all continue to come to terms of the loss of HM Queen Elizabeth II, we wanted to share our arrangements for the coming days and the day of the funeral.

I am sure you will feel much sadness following the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II, after a reign of over 70 years. Hayling Island Sailing Club joins the nation, and indeed the world, in mourning and I wanted to share the arrangements for the next few days as we all come to terms with this loss.

The office, clubhouse and changing rooms will be Closed on Monday 5 September

Regrettably, there will be no Thirsty Club Evenings this season at HISC.

Please be advised that Sunday Lunch will not be served upstairs in the main servery during the peak summer months.

This change will start from Sunday  17th July.

From here on in  we are asking our members to only use portable barbecues that can be taken home and reused, no more disposable barbecues.

 HISC have a number of large open events planned through July and August.

These events will have an impact on the car parking facilities available at HISC at the time of the events

We are having to temporarily reduce some of our kitchen opening times from 10 May 2022.

This means cooked lunch will not be available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday until further notice. Sandwiches will still be available these lunch times.

A reminder that members who have boat parking spaces are required to use their boats a minimum of seven times a year to retain the dinghy park space.
